No matter what your age, meditation is one of the easiest ways to improve your health. Research at the Medical

College of Georgia found that meditation lowered blood pressure and reduced the risk of heart disease and stroke.

Additional studies have demonstrated meditation can reduce chronic pain, decrease levels of stress and pain in

cancer patients, and reduce symptoms in patients with fibromyalgia.

Other studies have indicated meditation may reduce the levels of cortisol, a hormone that in high levels can weaken the immune system and slow down healing. Results from a small study conducted in 1998 with patients suffering from psoriasis lesions indicated meditation can speed up the body’s natural healing process. Some studies have even suggested meditation can help in the prevention of Alzheimer’s Disease.

Carole is a qualified Meditation Teacher. Her teaching methodology is to ‘keep it simple’ starting at the basics and then progressing at an achievable pace.

Classes also include pranayama (breathwork) to encourage an even deeper state of awareness.

Optional Fishing Charter:

We have access to some of the most difficult to reach & sought-after fishing grounds in the region.

Your optional fishing charter at Dundee Beach has one of the best reputations for delivering an exciting and informative fishing experience. Their passion for adventure and fishing is infectious.  They believe a fishing trip should be about catching lots of what you want to catch and having a great time with lots of laughs while you’re at it. Their professional guides, know where and how to find the fish. They fish most days of the week even when not on charter.

Your charter is tailored to suit the best tides and sea conditions, hot bites or your personal preferences that can range from chasing barra to pelagics and sail fish, reef fishing for goldies, trout, and emperor or bottom bouncing for our legendary huge black jewfish. They cater for hard core fisho’s and new comers looking for a once in a lifetime experience and they are more than happy to share their knowledge and skills to help you become a better angler.

On the bluewater, offshore conditions are generally the calmest of the year between October and December, so it's often possible to travel long distances, targeting the Top End's best sport and reef fish species. Spanish mackerel are still active at this time of year and reef fish such as golden snapper and jewfish congregate in large numbers on the inshore reefs around Dundee Beach and Fog Bay. The build-up is often the best time to enjoy long day’s reef fishing out of Dundee.

Day 2:

06:00   Sunrise Yoga, Breathwork & Meditation on the Deck (1/2 hour (fishing charter guests,so you are nice and calm for your big catch) 1 hour for all other guest 

07:00   Optional All Day Fishing Charter

07:30   Breakfast

08:00   Free Time and Massages

12:00   Yoga Class

13:30   Lunch

14:00   Free Time and Massages

17:30   Sunset Yin Yoga at an unique location

19:30   Dinner

20:30   No doubt an early night or free time

Day 3: 

07:00  Yoga on the Cliff Face

08:30  Breakfast

08:45  Free Time 

10:00  Restorative Yoga & Yoga Nidra

What to Pack 

Keep it simple. The pillows are quite high and firm, so you may wish to pack your own ‘special’ pillow.

Additional Snacks 

Balance for Life will provide ‘healthy bliss balls’ however if you like to snack then please feel free to pack some of your own ‘special’ snacks.


Bring 2-4 sets of workout gear (shorts and sports tops) as a minimum and 2 pairs of shoes (1 old pair, just in case one pair gets wet).

Balance for Life sessions Comfortable stretch pants and fitted t’s. Please bring your own yoga mat. Balance for Life can supply a mat if you do not have your own. Additional props will be provided.


Please be sunwise with your clothing for your fishing charter.  


Lightweight casual clothes for the tropics including wet weather (poncho).  Hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, umbrella and/or poncho (raincoat), insect repellent, hand sanitiser, refillable water bottle – it’s the tropics.  However, if you are attending during the dry season, please be mindful to pack some warmer clothes.

There will be free time allocated each day so you may wish to bring a book.

Staying in touch 

Telstra is the only carrier that provides mobile reception in Dundee.


Ensure you have 1 lockable bag for your valuables.

For safety reasons we are unable to accept guests who have a fatal allergy to any foods. We are not equipped to serve separate meals and as the closest hospital is 2 hours away we prefer not to put anyone at risk.

We will make every effort to accommodate food allergies (i.e. gluten, vegetarian? etc), however we will do the best can to cater for your needs.

Be prepared to challenge yourself and have a lot of fun and catch tonnes of fish. 

Most importantly pack an open mind and a belly full of laughs! You are about to have a very unique experience.
